This hotel is located on the Spuistraat which is in the very heart of Amsterdam, within walking distance of Dam Square and the Museumplein and all the other major attractions of Amsterdam.
The bedrooms all vary in size but are all medium. They are green and burgundy and have pale wood furnishings and all have a desk, table and chairs and are in good condition. The breakfast room is located on the ground floor and is very large with green carpet, burgundy furnishings and serves a sumptuous breakfast. There is also a small a la carte restaurant in the style of brasserie which is split level and made of dark wood and serves a limited menu.
This is a traditional building whose exterior has only recently been restored. The lobby is large and bright with tiled floor and marble reception desk and windows at the back of the lobby overlooking one of Amsterdam's many famous canals. There is another lobby off the reception area with ample seating.
This hotel has a perfect location and is without doubt one of the best hotels in its class.
