The hotel is excellently located in the centre of Amsterdam, opposite Central Station and so within walking distance of all major sightseeing attractions and the major shopping and entertainment areas.
The bedrooms are all in very good condition and range from small to medium in size, and some of them have special features eg., split level, exposed wooden beams etc. They all have rose and gold bedspreads and curtains of blue and gold and they all have rose wood effect furniture. The bathrooms, which are with shower only, are also in excellent condition, with granite floor and hair-dryers.
This is an extension of the lobby and serves breakfast only. It is designed in the style of a train restaurant with banquette for tables, decorated in green and wood and with pictures of trains as well as luggage racks and a train track along the floor.
This is a traditional building in keeping with its neighbouring buildings and in the typical Dutch style. The lobby is small and narrow but also completely refurbished and very attractive with a mahogany effect reception desk. There are train tracks painted on the floor which lead to the breakfast room and elevators.
This hotel is without doubt one of the best 3 star hotels in Amsterdam, and with an excellent, central position is perfect for all markets.
